  1. Beautiful posts and beautiful pictures. Your description of your inner world reacting to your external environment reminds me of Thoreau as much as Merton. Glad you got to spend time with yourself and with the world just as it is. May its deep reality provide you with that lasting stability and the joy of your own abiding self in a way that lasts and sustains your spirit.
